At a Glance: What We Offer

Updated: Dec 2, 2020

Have you noticed some changes at Glam Lounge? We've been upgrading! We're thrilled to welcome some new team members, Juan and Jessica, and are excited to see where 2021 takes us! In the meantime, we thought we'd take a moment to talk about what we offer here at Glamour Lounge and answer any questions you may have about our offerings.

First up, let's talk about our OLAPLEX treatments. OLAPLEX restores damaged and compromised hair by repairing hair from the inside out. It does this by repairing the disulfide bonds in the hair. Olaplex treatments are recommended for every client and every service because of its healing properties – it repairs all types of hair damage from heat damage, chemical damage to environmental damage.

Check out this gorg foilayage!

We also looooove a good Balayage and Foilayage – what's the difference?

Balayage is a hand painted technique. Balayage creates a more natural sun-kissed color and leaves softer, less noticeable regrowth lines.

Foliayage is a combination of using foiling techniques and balayage techniques.

If you're going with either of these looks, we recommend maintenance with a treatment and toner every 6-8 weeks or so. The actual highlighting and hand painting only needs to be refreshed every 12 - 14 weeks up to every 3 - 6 months depending on desired look.

Also loving this balayage!

As for Highlighting and Lowlighting...

You can easily add dimension to your hair by either creating lighter pieces or adding darker pieces. This technique works for every hair type when done right and we recommend maintenance every 6 - 8 weeks.

Looking for a color retouch? We got you.

A color retouch is when a stylist applies a single color to your root area where the natural hair growth starts. This technique is used to cover greys, or to lighten or darken the root with color.

Recommended maintenance is every 5 - 6 weeks or so.

Lastly, we're proud to also offer bleach retouching.

Similar to a color retouch, A bleach retouch is when a stylist applies bleach to your root area where the natural hair growth starts to achieve an all over platinum blonde. This is followed by toning to achieve the desired end tone. Recommended maintenance for this is every 6 weeks.

Questions about what service is right for you? We're here for you! Give us a shout.
