Lauren is one of our stylists here at Glamour Lounge and we just love her. Originally from Jacksonville, Lauren moved to Melbourne to start her journey in the hair industry.
Lauren finds her inspiration everywhere – from fashion to architecture and from her fellow stylists. Since childhood, Lauren has embraced her creativity and invested in her art. Design is especially fascinating to Lauren, and she brings those insights to the salon.
Creativity and determination eventually led Lauren to travel. Lauren has been on several incredible trips that have allowed her to find herself and discover interests like hiking and history. Lauren is constantly learning and finds a great deal of enjoyment from the pursuit of new knowledge – from random trivia to techniques she can use behind the chair.
Fall is Lauren’s favorite season. Can you guess why? It’s football season! 🏈
Lauren loves all aspects of cutting and customizing hair to suit each client’s needs. Lauren especially enjoys bringing modern style to classic bob cuts. As far as color goes, Lauren is very into dimensional, natural colors.
When asked about the future, Lauren says, “I hope to see everyone at Glamour Lounge excel even more than we already are. We have an amazing team and our clients can tell how much we love each other and our work and I can’t wait to show that to the parts of the community who haven’t met us yet! I look forward to more education to build on my techniques. I also hope to be able to have a bigger part in the Junior League volunteer organization and be in the community as much as possible.”
